Mom took me to the park today in hopes of getting some current pictures.. hahaha. I wouldn't even hardly look at her! I just wanted to run up and down the hills. I just got over being really really sick. Poor Mommy and Daddy were so worried about me. Turns out I had full blown Influenza and had a really high fever for over 7 days! We had to go to the doctor 2 times, which I hated, but managed to make it through. I am feeling much better now, but I'm still a little pale! Here are some pictures from today!

Mommy got a new camera and all she wants to do is take my picture! She also keeps saying that she can't believe I will be 3 in 2 months... I guess we should start planning my party!!!

Halloween!

I had so much fun on Halloween! I went as Snow White, or as I like to say, "Fo Fite" At first I wasn't too sure what to do, but by the end of the evening I had it down. I was so tired and dragging my feet, but I still wanted more. I kept telling Mommy and Daddy, "More doors!". Eventually though I had to come home and go to bed. My Grandma and Grandpa came over too, along with Chris, Tiffany and little Macy. Here is a little slide show from our night:

Happy belated 4th of July! It is so hot here!! On the 4th mommy said it was 117 degrees.. not too sure what that means, but sounds like a big number! I've been so busy playing and talking up a storm. My favorite thing is to watch "The Little Mermaid" and act out the scene when she is singing on the rock. I don't have a rock but I have a great couch with an arm on it that I go right up to and sing on! Everybody laughs when I do this. It must be cute!

I am only going to daycare 3 days over the summer because Mommy has Mondays and Fridays off. It's so much fun! We belong to a little playgroup and we meet every Monday! I just love to see my friends! Here is a page with my friends on it:

I have discovered trains! We went to a toy store and they had this HUGE table with a ton of trains on it.. I cried, kicked and screamed as they drag me away. So my buddy Garrett let me borrow his old train set for awhile. I'm not sure who likes it more, Daddy or me! Daddy makes me some great tracks and then I wreck them. It is great to see him do it over again!! Here I am playing with it:

To keep cool, Mommy has been giving me Popsicles! I LOVE them!!! For some reason I have to eat them outside, but that's ok, I'm pretty sure I would eat them anywhere!!

Ok I'm off to play some more! I'll try to be better about posting about my life! Have a great summer!

So I am 2 years old!!! Wooohooo! You can now call me a Toddler! I have a fun little party on Sunday and invited some of my friends. It was great, but I wasn't feeling too well. Then after the party I got REALLY sick! As the week as gone by I started to get this rash all over my body. At first Mommy & Daddy thought it was Roseola because some kids at daycare had it last week.. but today I went to the doctor and I have Hand Mouth and Foot Disease! Now trust me it sound much worse than it is.. but here I am spots and all:

I have been so busy!! Mommy and Daddy have trouble keeping up with me because I am constantly on the go! Plus I'm even starting to talk more and more every day! I can point to and say my body parts.. eyes, nose, mouth, tongue, teeth and hands. I say "hi" to everyone and I even say "thank you". I am now 22 months and will soon have a birthday... yeah!!!

I had a great weekend with lots of playing and bubble blowing. I went to the park with my buddy Brady and they turned on the water features at the park! We had so much fun just playing and we got soaked! Good thing mommy had a change of clothes for me!

20 months

Today I'm 20 months old! Can you believe it?? I know my Mommy and Daddy can't. I'm really starting to talk more too. This week my favorite things to say are "No" and "Here Go" (for Here you go). I had a wonderful Christmas. That Santa guy sure brought me A LOT of stuff. So much stuff that I have NO idea where it's going to go, but at least I'll have fun playing with it. My favorite was the big water table and all of the toy food. I love to poor it all out on the floor and put each piece in my mouth. Here are some recent pics of me:

My Surgery

Well I survived my surgery to have my dermoid cyst removed. I hated everything about the hospital!! Daddy kept a running log of the day:

6:00am - Well the morning started off great Ellie was in a great mood and played in the car all the way to the Hosptial unaware that something ominious was approaching..
6:30 - Admiting took forever, we visted three waiting rooms in the journey to the pre-op
7:30 - Preop blues set in with Mommy and Ellie figured it out she was not going to Daycare today. She typically enjoys electro gadgets, but not today and particularly not the ones that had to touch her (pulse/ox/temp). She did get a lovely orange gown which I think of as a precurser to a straight jacket. Positive side our Dr as it turns out 5 years ago seperated conjoined twins in Denver so Mom felt much better.
8:00 - scratch what I said about Mom feeling better because this is where it all fall apart. It is go time both Mom and Ellie are crying and in a humane way the pryed her away from mom and took Ellie screaming down the hall. Weird silence sets in as her muffled cry fades away and you realize you can't be there for her now and it feels empty.Tick tock it is all a matter of waiting now.
9:30 - Mr. Little congratulations it’s a ….eewww tumor, growth weird thing that had hair growing out of it. Initial prognosis is it is not an evil thing, but pathology results will be run non the less and the doc described how big this thing was - lil bigger than a marble and very fleshy hard mass. The surgery went fine and there we no complications so a good sigh of relief, now the wait till we can see her and feel her stare of what did you do to me.
10:00 - Trip the lights fantastic! So Ellie started to wake up from surgery and the post op nurse came out to get us. She is breathing and looks like our child - quick check of the ankle bracelet and yep this one is ours, but she is mysteriously calm and quiet. Why did I think that because as soon as the anesthesia wore off and she was aware and wanted nothing to do with anyone, but mom.10:05 - Will you stop poking me! Well she developed a hematoma and the swelling started, they all came to see if they needed to take her back, but the sutures held, but a little pressure on the spot and some demerol to stop the pain things seemed to calm down.10:15 - In Steve Irwin's wet dreams! … wrestling alligators sums up the fiasco that ensued in getting her ready to go home. First they had to get some stats and she reacted like a shell shocked alien probe survivor very timid and untrusting. Then the best part - removing the drip IV tube, well Ellie helped in removing the bandages, seemed like a fun game round and round and round till the IV was exposed. Think that stopped her? We had a gusher, she yanked out the IV and covered Mom, Nurse, blanket and Rae (her stuffed rabbit) in blood which was like capping an oil rig fire. She was flailing her arm around and we needed to get it contained. Amazing a little gauze some pressure and an elmo bandage all better.
10:30 - all smiles when we walked outside the hospital, it was over and she was too tired and doped up to care about anything else expect to get home and go to bed. Get home and she did the drunk walk into the house and walked right to her high chair - guess she was hungry. Well things are quiet she is sleeping and then we begin the every 4 hour Tylenol for pain ritual. No sleeping tonight, but it will be worth knowing it she is safe.

My Second Halloween!

I have been sick as a dog. I've had a high fever since Saturday night and I have just felt crummy. I think Mommy is getting cabin fever staying home with me. Since I was sick on Halloween, Mommy dressed me up and we only went to a couple of houses. It was fun, and I LOVED the suckers!!! Mom will upload some pics for you to see!

Well now that I'm a walker, I'm completely into everything! I love to explore! My favorite thing to do is run from the living room to the office and turn Daddy's computer on and off by clicking the cool button! I also enjoy opening his cd drive on his laptop when he is working on it!

The other day Mommy & Daddy took me for a walk to the mailbox and to the small park and I went crazy! That place is so much fun! I just loved stepping from the grass to the rocks, to the grass, to the street, to the rocks, and so forth!! I couldn't get enough and when Daddy picked me up to go inside I cried!! In fact I'm really starting to get the hang of crying when I don't get my way... doesn't seem to work though.

Can you believe I'm 15 months old now???? Here are some pics of me playing with my blocks and eating my snack! Have a great week!!!

Phew.. where has the time gone. I have been so busy!!! I am now an official walker!!! I was so busy cruising all over the place that poor Mommy and Daddy didn't think I would ever let go and walk. But sure enough the day after father's day I did! And to tell you the truth I have been walking ever since! Now that I"m upright I figured out how to open doors, cabinets, and I can even get myself on the couch! I'm sure my parents are about to have small heart attacks watching me! I did manage to get a huge rasberry on my head and then I even got a bruise on my chin, from some of my falls! But don't worry, I'm a big girl and very determined!!! Here I am walking (on the left!)

So my hair is long enough that Mommy puts it in fun little pony tails on top of my head... but every now and then I just have to pull it out (usually when I'm eating and my hands are dirty!) Tonight I pulled it out and I looked like I was in a rock band!! Here is a picture Daddy took of me! Love my hair??? Ok, I'm off to bed! Happy 4th of July!!

So I am a big one year old now!! Can you believe it? Mommy and Daddy say the year has flown by. I guess they are right. I'm am getting so big. I now even say some words! I try to say "Cat", "Duck", "Dada" and "Mama". I am almost walking too! I still need to hold a hand (which I love) but I have taken 2 steps on my own. I had fun at my party and it was great seeing all of my family.. even Daddy's mom, Dad, Stepmom and sister came here from California to celebrate with me! I really LOVED the cake! I am such a big girl! I am starting to really babble and on Daddy's birthday I actually said, "DADA" He was impressed :) I am also saying "mamamama" and "mama" when I am upset or when I need something... Mom's thinks it's pretty cute too! Look at the newest page Mom did of me-----> It's on her blog too, but I guess she liked it so much that she posted it twice! I do look pretty adorable if I don't say so myself.

Mommy & Daddy are getting ready for my big 1 year old birthday. They keep saying something about a party.. all I know is that there better be some cake!!

Oh and I think I'm almost walking. Any week now and I'll be walking all over the place!!

Home in the rain

Mommy and I spent the weekend together because Daddy was in Vegas. Today it's raining so we decided to stay in.. mommy called it a PJ day and played with me alot. We watched movies.. both hers and mine and then Mommy started playing around with my hair. Look at me! I'm still trying to figure out my jeep and I actually got it going a little forward today :) Hopefully I'll get it soon!

Wowzers.. I am getting bigger by the day! Can you believe I am already 10 months old? Mommy is already planning something big for my FIRST birthday!! I continue to cruise all over the furniture and anything else I can get my hands on. I've figured out the whole door thing and how to open them (of course not with the knob!) and and close them.. it almost gives mommy and daddy a heart attack, because I almost get my fingers in there every time! Yesterday my dear Grandma bought me a very cool Jeep walker!! Here is a pic of me in it! I can get it going backwards, but haven't figured out how to get it to go forward yet and then I get a little fussy.. Mom says I should have it down in no time.

Right now my favorite thing to do is blow rasberries! Every time I do it now mom says, "what does a motorboat say" hmm... I have no idea! Mommy has to find a new babysitter this month.. my very good neighbor Ms. Joanne is moving across town. I will be so sad when I don't get to play with her every day anymore.. Ok I"m off to bed!

Sick again!!!

Well I was so sick again this week... but now I had ear infections and some nasty cold. I even wheezed when I would breathe! Poor mommy, I kept her up many nights. She even elevated my mattress in my crib so that I could breathe when I slept. I was a bit crabby and not very patient, but I was still cute as ever. I now wave to people. I wave "hi" and "bye" to everyone! Yesterday mommy took me out of the bath and we looked in the mirror and mommy said, "who's that baby" and clear as day I said "HI!" and waved!!! Yep I tell you, I sure am cute!!!

I'm 9 months old!

Today I am officially 9 months old!! Can you believe it?? I'm pulling myself up to a stand, cruising across the furniture and tables, and getting into anything mommy and daddy will let me get into! I have 8 teeth that I like to show off on a regular basis, i'm starting to eat some table foods.. I LOVE macaroni & cheese!! I might actually be getting more because I'm teething like a mad woman! I can crawl super fast and if you turn your head I'll be across the room in no time. I still love to watch "Baby Einstein" and now I even laugh at it. I even have a little temper if you take something away from me that I want. Here is a pic mommy took of me today.. don't I look so cute?! Check back often because mom keeps adding more good stuff!

Today I went to my buddy Cameron's 2nd birthday party! He had it at Busy Bodies and I got to tell you, I kept my body busy! I was crawling around everywhere plus pulling myself up every chance I got! That place is like Baby Heaven! Here is a pic of me there! I got to see my friend Anna, Lauren, & Megan also! They had a lot of fun dancing and spinning around too. Mommy's hoping that I moved around so much that I will sleep well tonight... we'll see. I did have my 9 month check up on Friday and the doctor said I look good! Oh and today I went to Target (Mom's favorite hang out) and I found my voice there! I babbled and cooed the whole time!!! I got plenty of people to talk to me too :)

I finally pulled myself into a stand! Mommy came in to get me after my nap and there I was standing like such a big girl. I think mommy almost fell over because she sure was suprised. I just looked at her with the biggest smile from ear to ear because I was so proud! It was like climbing a mountain... I reached my hands up and then pulled with all my might until I finally got it. Mommy even made me do it again so she could see how I did it. Then she called my Dad and he was so suprised too! Getting down is a little harder.. I just let go and hope I fall ok.. in my crib that's no problem! Here is a pic of the great event.

I was a big crab today.. not feeling 100% yet. Mommy's friend came over to take pictures of all of us and I was not happy about it at all. I screamed when they put me in the grass. But I did go to my friend Mia's 1st b-day party today and had some cake.. man that stuff is YUMMY!

I have been so sick this week.. pretty sure it's just the flu, but I have given poor Mom and Dad quite the scare this week! Thank goodness for the nurses and doctors! I'm starting to feel better though. Here is a page mommy did about me and my nicknames! Aren't the flowers fun!! Take a look at my hair! It's growing all over the place and sticks out everywhere!! Mommy did have it laying down, but I managed to mess it up during my nap!

I'm crawling!!! Yes I'm actually crawling all over the place and mommy and daddy have installed these weird little plastic things into the outlets. It's amazing, when I actually started to crawl, I noticed those things right off the bat. The are so cool looking and I know my little finger would just fit in there perfectly. Bummer that mommy and daddy had to be safe. In all honesty I do look rather cute when I am crawling around. I had the whole backwards thing down and then all of a sudden it just hit me and I started going forward. Mommy keeps chasing me down the hallway. Here's a pic of me in my crawling form!

I had so much fun for Christmas!! First I went to Children's mass on Saturday night and then Sunday I opened presents with my Mom & Dad. It was great pulling the tissue paper out of bags and just ripping paper. Here's a pic of me next to the tree in my Christmas pjs!

Everyone spoiled me rotten! I got so many gifts. I don't know what to wear or play with first. I am partial to the new set of toy keys I got from Santa though!!
